The Frontera Collection is a limited series lineup showcasing an exclusive design by a different El Paso artist every new season. Adrian Correa is this series artist.
El Paso is the proud home to many creative voices whose experience of being raised by sister cities, El Paso and Juarez (or as we like to call, being a fronterizo) have impacted their voice and style in art. We are honored to announce the launch of a new collection at Junes, The Frontera Collection.
Adrian Correa (he/his) is a graphic and fashion designer who was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Adrian’s work is inspired by his upbringing of living in a bordertown along with the influence of Mexican culture, specifically luchador imagery. The luchador dynamic has been a big part of his life, he reflects how his upbringing as a child has many memories embedded with different luchador fighters. Those same masks are now reflected onto his art. His main medium is the computer and textiles, but he also loves being creative in other digital mediums such as podcasting. As the creative force of AC Art, his mission is to create a positive bi-cultural impact through design and empower folks to pursue their creative career - “La Lucha Sigue” is his motto, translating to “The Fight Continues”.
The Market Tote is the essential shopping bag, with longer handles for carrying tall greens, tall flowers, and taller things, in general.
